Continuing Medical Education Committee

works to achieve and maintain members’ professional competence in accordance with the standards of modern medical science;
proposes the adoption and amendment of the Rules on Continuing Medical Education and the Evaluation of All Forms of Professional Development;
evaluates professional and scientific papers and other written contributions at professional seminars, courses and other forms of training, expert knowledge acquisition and professional development;
adopts criteria for assessing the quality of continuing medical education programmes and professional development organisers;
assesses the quality of continuing medical education plans and programmes adopted by healthcare institutions;
cooperates with Chamber bodies, educational establishments, healthcare institutions and medical associations on members’ continuing medical education and other matters;
performs other tasks entrusted to it by the Executive Board.
