Leuven / Podgorica, 17 October 2026 – The Medical Chamber of Montenegro has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), the oldest and most influential European organisation in the field of medical education and specialist practice.

This important document was signed during the autumn meeting of the UEMS Council in Leuven, Belgium, marking a key step towards integrating Montenegro's healthcare system into European developments and standards.

With this agreement entering into force, the Medical Chamber of Montenegro further strengthens its role as an active international partner and opens up new opportunities for the professional development of all medical specialists in our country.
